| I May Need A Baby Bed or Bed Rails... | | Well, my Mom is now threatening me…with a baby bed!! She is insisting that she is either going to buy me a baby bed or bed rails to keep me from falling out of our bed. The other night I remember waking up to go to the bathroom and starting to get up, the next thing I knew I was on the floor between the bed and wall on my hands and knees and my arm was throbbing where I’d hit it on the wood frame of our bed (it’s a waterbed). It hasn’t bruised yet but I can feel it so I know I’ll have a doozy of one before long.This isn’t the first time I’ve fallen either…not long ago I got up to go to the bathroom and suddenly it was like my left leg just disappeared. I mean it really felt like it wasn’t there at all. It threw me off balance and I came about 6” from going head first through our bedroom window. I don’t know if the disappearing feeling has anything to do with my diabetes or if it’s just some freaky thing.I’ve thought about moving the bed but it’s really hard to get in and out of with one side against the wall and it’s a nightmare to put the sheets on when it’s against the wall. Look on the right side for "month deals, and coupon codes"Many times stores have free shipping, but you need to spend a certain amount ($25, $50 min, etc). When I buy something online, I hardly ever pay for shipping. I try to combine all my purchases into one. For example, if I’m shopping at Old Navy online and they have free shipping with a minimum purchase I try to think ahead or ask other family members if they need anything. Or, you could spend the extra to get to that minimum and save the extra items as gifts throughout the year to your friends/family. Or, you could spend the extra money to get free shipping, then go to the actual store and return what you don’t want.
