This was actually a recommendation in a Baby proofing article I read. I think this is silly. Come on! I would put the food in a location that only the dog could get to. What about you. | | my baby fell | | my 1 year old baby fell down 10 steps of stairs at my mom and dad's house last weekend. i was talking to my mom in her room while my 11 yr old nephew was playing with baby julla. we didn't realize that they went out the room to the stairs until it was too late. she rolled down the stairs like a ball. luckily, the steps alternately had a pair of my dad's shoes placed there. we think she rolled on the shoes so she didn't really get hurt. when he was picked up by my brother at the bottom of the stairs, she was sitting on her butt and didn't cry at all.mom said her guardian angel must've caught her or something. later, we looked out for signs that something may be wrong with her but she didn't get any fever or vomit. so, i think she's ok. i was afraid to tell her dad about at first. but when everything seemed ok, i told him and he just laughed it off saying our baby is real strong jsut like her dad. hah-hah!:-) | |

I eventually ended up going with two different types; one that was fixed and did not open or move and one that could be positioned at the bottom of the steps so kids couldn't find their way up them.ike her dad. hah-hah!:-) | |
| | Is anyone a member of Moms Opinion matters? | | Its a survey group where they send you surveys for stuff all having to do with babies, such as baby monitors, safety gates, high chairs, boosters, etc..... Each survey lasts less than five minutes. Some are only one question. Then when you are done they put your name in a drawing for $100 target giftcard. I was just wondering if anyone else is a part of this group and is there anyone that has won the giftcard whether it be you or someone you know. Its not a waste of time because the surveys are short and sweet. I was just wondering if they really do give out the giftcards. Because I noticed this month they have sent me a ton of surveys, which they never used to. So I'm hoping this means I have a good chance to win maybe.
