| Do you prefer a bunk bed or 2 twin size beds? | | I bought my daughters a bunk bed for my oldest daughters 5th birthday. I love bunk beds because they dont take up as much room. Where we live our bedrooms aren't that big. I would have prefered 2 twin sized beds bunk I enjoy the bunk beds. The thing I do not like about the bunk beds is getting the spread sheet on the mattress. It's really hard to do, expessially being 7 1/2 months pregnant. So, which do you prefer regular twin beds or bunk beds? | |

| Would you rather sleep on the top or bottom of a bunk bed? | | Either way, you'll have to worry...if you're on the top, you might fall off while sleeping...and if you're on the bottom, the top bunk could cave in and land right on top of you, including the person sleeping on it...ha ha...I don't know, I guess I'd pick the top bunk. I don't think I'd feel comfortable with somebody sleeping above me. So which would you choose, top or bottom? | |
| | Could You Use A Bunk Bed? | | I remember when I was a child at home, we had a bunk bed in the boys bed room for them to sleep in. It was a great way to have a bed in a small space. When our children got old enough, we purchased a bunk bed for our two daughters. We lived in a small trailor and did not have the room for a full size bed. That bunk was very expensive to purchase and it wasnt made really sturdy either. My Brother in law purchased a bunk bed for his kids. It was made of metal tubing like stuff. It broke within two years after he purchased it. Bunk Beds are nice but to get one that is sturdy and will last can really cut into your budget. The solution is to make your own bunk bed. It can be made in about 2 hours. It is very sturdy and can be taken down for storage or to move. All the directions and a list of needed materials can be found here:
